Ontario Climate Trends 2015 - Extreme Rainfall

Ontario Rainfall

Environment Canada's Engineering Climate Datasets includes IDF curve and other extreme weather trend data - the map and tables below show where extreme rainfall is decreasing and increasing in Ontario. Fifty-two climate stations have less extreme rain. No Greater Toronto Area stations have statistically significant increases in rainfall intensity, despite recent high-profile flood events.
